Our principles

Civic discipline and the Albanian flag only

These principles are the public premise of the march. They are not negotiable.

Only under the Albanian flag

The march does not represent any political party, organization, or interest group.

Peaceful civic protest

Democratic rights are exercised with respect for the law and the people around us.

Respect for each other

Insults, threats, provocation, discrimination, and incitement to violence are rejected.

Calm in the face of provocation

The answer to provocation is calm, dignity, and stepping away from escalation.

Personal responsibility

Each participant is responsible for their own actions and statements.

Unity beyond beliefs

What unites us is the future of Albania.

Why we march

For public responsibility and the national interest

The march stands in solidarity with citizens calling for the protection of the public interest, nature, cultural heritage, and Albania's future.

We come from different countries, but when Albania calls, our answer is calm, united, concrete action.

  • Government resignation.
  • Repeal of the strategic investor status and related legal framework.
  • Repeal of the Mountains Package.
  • Reversal of changes to protected-areas law.
  • Reversal of changes to cultural-heritage law.

Practical tips

Prepare for a long walk on asphalt

Keep it simple: water, light food, a steady pace, and shoes you have already tested. The goal is to arrive together and in good condition.

Water

Drink water regularly during the walk. Bring a large bottle and refill whenever possible, especially because the day will be hot.

Food

Bring bananas, sandwiches, nuts, or an energy bar. Eat small portions about every 2 hours.

Breaks

We will stop for about 5 minutes every hour. Every 2 hours, we will take a longer break of about 15 minutes.

Shoes

Wear walking trainers with soft soles. Do not wear new shoes without testing them first.

Fatigue

The route from Rinas to the square takes many hours and is mostly on asphalt. The pace will stay calm, about 4 km/hour, so the group remains together.

Bag

Keep it light, under 3 kg if possible. A waist strap helps distribute the weight.
